Phil Zaveri

Mr. Phil Zaveri is an entrepreneur and executive leader. He currently serves as a Director of a non-profit—the Dr. Kiran C. Patel Institute for Graduate Medical Education, a partner at Global Health Initiative, and a Partner at Aureate Development / Aureate Group both divisions of the Patel Family Office located in Tampa Florida.

Zaveri graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a background in life sciences and business, earning a bachelor’s degree. While in Cleveland, Mr. Zaveri served as a research technician at the Cleveland Clinic where he worked on multiple projects in conjunction with the Mayo Clinic and Department of Defense on Orthopedic stem cell and bone grafting research.

In 2019, Mr. Zaveri co-founded Global Health Initiative. In this role, Zaveri played a key role in securing a first round of funding for the institution’s parent company as well as subsequent commitments totaling a greater than $175M investment including the building of a state-of-the-art 150,000 square foot facility. As a member of the Board of Trustees at Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (Proposed), Zaveri provides oversight and feedback to ensure the institution’s core mission and values are put into practice.

A majority of Zaveri’s time is spent focusing on social impact development and commercial real estate development. As a co-founder of Aureate companies, he has been able to help municipalities and organizations with commercial real estate solutions for attainable home ownership, medically underserved populations, and USDA classified ‘food deserts’. Zaveri contributes to these commercial developments in numerous ways including underwriting analysis, capital stack management, and design oversight.
