About the OCOM Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Program

The Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine prepares students to become qualified osteopathic physicians, prepared for entry into the practice of medicine within postgraduate training programs. The program spans four academic years, the first two years in a pre-clinical phase and the last two years in a clinical phase. Students are assessed throughout the curriculum on their learning progress of the core competencies that are integrated into the programmatic learning objectives students are required to demonstrate reasonable competence in the milestones as well as the Entrustable Professional Activities assessment at the completion of the program, which, upon successful completion, will signify that the graduate demonstrates readiness for caring for patients in a postgraduate training program under adequate supervision.
