Nicholas Fiume, CPA, is a seasoned financial executive currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine. His leadership encompasses all financial aspects of the institution, from strategic planning and operations to compliance, reporting, and human resources. He collaborates closely with academic leadership and advises the Board of Trustees and other stakeholders. Concurrently, Mr. Fiume is a Partner at Dopkins & Company, LLP, where he leads the Healthcare and Not-for-Profit Practice, driving business development and client service. He also provides Client Accounting and Advisory Solutions, including interim CFO services, specializing in higher education. His expertise includes financial management, strategic planning, and liaison with key stakeholders. Prior to Dopkins, Mr. Fiume spent 16 years at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, where he was an Audit Specialist Leader, overseeing audits for numerous corporations and specializing in healthcare. He is a licensed CPA in New York and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Canisius College. A dedicated community leader, he serves on several boards, including Saint Mary’s High School of Lancaster (where he served as Chairman), the Canisius College Alumni Association (where he served as President), Feedmore Western New York, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, and Our Lady of Victory Charities. He was also recognized as a “40 Under 40” honoree by Buffalo Business First.
