Dr. Faysal Rifai is board certified in internal medicine and is passionate about quality, efficient, and evidenced-based patient care. Since joining Advent Health, he has received the Medical Staff Service Standards Award in 2023. Dr. Rifai was born in Washington D.C., but grew up in Pensacola, FL. He attended University of South Florida in Tampa, FL and then Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, AL. He completed his residency at UCF HCA Ocala where he received the Resident Teaching Award for his compassionate mentoring skills. There he found his passion for teaching and enjoyed the journey in seeing younger residents grow and become well-rounded physicians. Before joining Advent Health, he worked at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach. He currently resides in Winter Garden, Florida with his wife and two kids. He enjoys watching sports, catching a good movie, and traveling with his family.
