Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine Announces Clinical Affiliation with Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center

The Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (OCOM) is proud to announce a new clinical affiliation with Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center, one of Central Florida’s leading healthcare institutions. This partnership will provide OCOM’s third- and fourth-year medical students with invaluable clinical rotation experiences at a facility renowned for its state-of-the-art care and advanced medical services.

Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center is home to a Level II Trauma Center and a highly specialized Emergency Department, providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population. With over 200,000 ER visits annually, Lakeland Regional offers OCOM student doctors exposure to a wide range of acute medical cases, from trauma to emergency care, in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. This experience is instrumental in shaping future osteopathic physicians, enabling them to develop the critical skills necessary for handling emergency and trauma cases effectively.
