OCOM Announces New Clinical Affiliation with Pediatric Associates
Orlando, FL — March 19, 2025 — The Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (OCOM) is proud to announce a new clinical affiliation agreement with Pediatric Associates, one of the largest and most respected pediatric primary care groups in Florida. This exciting partnership strengthens OCOM’s mission to deliver a modern medical education experience and provide high-quality clinical training opportunities to its students.
Through this new affiliation, OCOM medical students will gain access to clinical rotation experiences at multiple Pediatric Associates locations across Florida, offering hands-on learning in pediatric medicine under the guidance of experienced and compassionate pediatricians. This collaboration enhances OCOM’s goal of producing well-rounded, community-focused physicians by expanding access to pediatric clinical experiences in a variety of outpatient care settings.
“This affiliation with Pediatric Associates allows our students to experience diverse patient populations across multiple practice environments,” said Dr. Robert T. Hasty, Dean and Chief Academic Officer of OCOM. “We are grateful for this opportunity to further enrich the clinical education of our future physicians and ensure they are well-prepared to care for the youngest members of our communities.”
Pediatric Associates, with numerous locations throughout Florida, has been a leader in pediatric care for over 65 years. Their commitment to accessibility, innovation, and preventive care makes them an ideal clinical training partner for OCOM’s developing physicians.
This partnership reflects OCOM’s continued growth as a premier medical school in Orlando, building affiliations that provide comprehensive, real-world clinical exposure in key specialties such as pediatrics.
