Gregory Scott, PhD, MHA, CMRP, FAHRMM

Dr. Gregory Scott is currently the Director for the Doctor of Health Science program at Eastern Virginia Medical School and has worked in higher education for over a decade. He has over 10 years’ experience in health care administration as a healthcare administrator within not-for-profit, proprietary and government healthcare settings.

He has specialties in the areas of healthcare finance and medical logistics with board certifications in health finance and medical logistics. He currently serves as an on-site reviewer for the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). He is a Fellow of the Association for Healthcare Resources and Materials Management (AHRMM) and a member in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

Dr. Scott is a member on the AHRMM Education Committee and has worked directly with mentees for publication in subjects as healthcare finance, medical logistics and process improvement. He has experience in healthcare finance, medical logistics, training and education, leadership, human resources, strategic management, and general operations.
