Sandra Dunbar-Smalley DPA, OTR/L, FAOTA

Sandra is currently the Provost and Chief Academic Officer at AdventHealth University. She is an Occupational Therapist and holds a doctorate in Public Administration. Sandra is the author and co-author of three leadership books, one occupational therapy pediatric practice textbook, and numerous articles related to student clinical experiences, family-centered care and leadership/management. Sandra has over two decades of academic experience and developed a Center for Academic and Professional Excellence in her previous position as Assistant Dean of Professional Development. She has also been instrumental in numerous program development initiatives and has successfully managed several accreditation processes. Sandra is very community engaged, volunteering for mentoring and food bank organizations, as well as church related activities.
