Health Insurance
OCOM requires that all students maintain active health insurance coverage at all times. All OCOM students are automatically enrolled and charged for the OCOM student plan unless a waiver with insurance coverage that meets all requirements set forth by OCOM is submitted by your waiver deadline. To ensure that students have access to a comprehensive, reasonably priced health plan, OCOM offers a student insurance plan through Aetna Student Health, a PPO plan with nationwide coverage for in-network and out-of-network providers.
HSA Consulting, Inc. (HSAC) is the group administrator for the student health plan and will verify the waiver information to ensure all students are currently and remain compliant with OCOM's health insurance requirements. All information submitted is confidential and utilized for verification of health insurance only. You will receive e-mails from HSAC from this point forward, so please review the information they provide. As the group administrator, HSAC will assist students with plan questions, address changes, claim assistance, and obtain ID cards. Their team is available by phone or e-mail.
